There are occasions when voice communication like a phone call or a video call will be the best option. We use an online video call software called Vectera. It is similar to Skype except it doesn't force you to download any software.
Throughout the build process, we'll collaborate through a combination of instant messaging (such as our integrated chat system or SMS) and voice chat plus screen sharing on Vectera and other software we use. We'll keep a running task list within a project management system we use which makes life so much easier!
